Jackson is to come off his 1 bottle per day... it saddens me.

He usually has a pre-bedtime bottle chilling on me then its off for teeth time and bed. He does like a story now and then but I am just coming to terms with the fact I wont need to ever make up a bottle again.

Unless.... :oooo::lol:

Are things going that well with FOB?!

It's sad when it's 'the last thing' for them to do, big hugs :hugs: could you switch out the bottle for a beaker and still have your cuddles?

Yeah I will... He does use a beaker always anyway its just mostly at bed time.

Haha, well enough to wait and see

Oooohh I'm watching this space then! I know what you mean though about not making bottles again, it's the oddest sensation...

Yeah its the thought. At least I still made like 1 bottle per day. Now none. I will never need to clean or find a bottle again... scary stuff.

I still have my coil in and will have for the forseeable, still got alot of decorating and a holiday to have before all that again.. But no wonder people get broody LOL. Ive been quite happy to have 1 until slowly but surely hes growing out of the babyness..

He was still a baby but now he's a little boy!

Hmmmmm it all sounds too well planned, you could be tempting fate!

I seem to make all my best plans when all of my life is in the air LOL.

Nah, house first, then holiday, then possibly think about baby.

I still have my max at 3, so my womb has room for 2 more lolol xxx

My 3 year old will not give her bottle up which frustrates me it is only at bedtime and morning drink

We had our 30 month assesment yesterday. Everything went well she was happy with him but just says to not give him a bottle now, which I was aware of but... hes still my baaaaaby! LOL.

Jackson can sleep without his, its not a big fuss for him to give the bottle up its a big fuss for me to give up giving him it and admit hes big now!

Heres hoping your LO will eventually give it up..

My 3.5 year old daughter has just switched her bedtime bottle to a cup! Shock horror! Usually when I've tried handing her a cup she's screamed blue murder until she gets a bottle, but this week tried again and... nothing... no fuss. Soooooo pleased to have her off bottles. Just got to work on my son now!

So yeah, you might feel sad now, but if you leave it as long as I have, it just becomes a relief that they've finally given it up!!!

A few of my friends have said their LO gave up on their own, basically go with if they ask give them and then their supposed to not ask... although I dont fully trust this method to go with it.

Its literally only the bedtime bottle he has? hes never been big on dummies - not had that since like 5months and he can occasionally just sleep without his bottle - there has been an occasion I went to get the milk and it was off  and he just went without and other times hes been too tired to even care - but I just feel like leading him to his bed and him going to sleep with no milk is very bizarre - i think im making more of a fuss haha! but yeah, i havent found like it to be a necessity he comes off it?

I think Ill go with the, if he doesnt ask he doesnt get for now... see how we go with that, then eventually take it away.

I'm jealous haha! I honestly can't wait for my boy to ditch his bottle of drink it out something else.. Teats are expensive and cause of the crappy valve bit on the mam teats they still do need replacing to prevent leaks and stuff.. Oh and sometimes I don't screw the bottle in right and it leaks too! No, no no! I hate bottles and can't wait for this moment! Celebrate the liberty and the money it will save you (for now lol)
