My good grief....thats highway robbery.... Our bank calls us first to ask if we realise that we have gone over....then either extends our overdraft a bit or charges stupid amounts of interest for as long as we have the overdraft,....

But 28 quid for being 2 quid over drawn....thats just barmy!!!!!

Ring them up and say No way you do no its illegal to charge me these amounts. tell them that u will report them and take them to court. you havent signed a credit agreement to go overdrawn so they cant let u. Ive had this with natwest and barclays and both have withdrawn the requested payments. DOnt stand for it and dont say ull pay monthly etc if u get mad and pushy they soon have a paddy and take it away!!! lol

I would say i hate banks but m DH has just been offered a job at a wel known branch and they are giving him twice his current salary so shouldn't complain.

Actually thinking about it maybe they are able to pay him such a good wage because they take so much money of innocent people like you, im sorry i can only appologise x x x
