lol that reminds me of when I was little and didn't want to finish my dinner.
My mam would get a spoon and start spooning it into my mouth, going "one for mammy, and one for daddy, and one for granny, and one for uncle tony, and one for aunty marianne..." etc. etc. until I would eat it all up.
It was a mean trick to play because she knew that I would feel terrible if I left someone I loved out by not eating the spoonful of food that was dedicated to them! lol.

My Mum did exactly the same to me and I'd forgotten all about it.

My Grandma use to try to get me to eat sprouts by saying they were cabbages that the fairies had grown for me. Dodn't make me eat them, just cry with guilt.

Awww that is cute though thinking of those fairies making ickle cabbages!! I hated sprouts as a child, love them now!

"Awwww poor Ernie all on his own, wondering where his friends have gone, such a shame..."
