Crawling-trying to....

Ruby has been rolling for a while now, she spends all of her time on her tummy now, even sleeps on her tummy. The last day or two, she is getting increasingly frustrated as she is trying to move forward but she cant. She pulls her knees under her, sticks her bum in her air and sort of hurls herself forward She looks so funny-OH calls her "slug" She does it in her cot, on her play mat, on the rug, on the bed, everywhere!!! Will it be long till she crawls?? How old are babies when they crawl

Gabriella properly crawled at 8 months but she was doing the bum waving in the air, flinging herself for a while. She also went backwards and round in circles before she crawled properly
