Craving central..the thread for all those lovely cravings!!

I have cravings for fizzy drinks and tunnocks teacakes. I'm going to be the size of a house...
 
Everyday, I wake up and think today, I'm going to have a nice healthy salad for lunch but by the time I get there, I'm busy cooking cheese on toast with nearly half a pack of cheese on (haha no cheese is enough!) and eating salt and vinegar crisps!!!! Then anything with chips for tea, had a Chinese last night was gorgeous. Tonight's tea is fish pie with you've guessed it, extra cheese on top, god I need to calm down I'm going to be huge.. I've put 7 pounds on already and I'm 15 and a half weeks.. is that normal at this stage?! Xx
 
I can't say i'm really craving anything as such, and if I do it isn't consistent. My passing phases have been: sweet chilli crisps and sour cream dip, prawns wrapped in filo pastry with sweet chilli sauce, melted goats cheese with caramelised onion chutney & lastly, white chocolate buttons!

The only consistent thing has been diet lemonade, but i've weaned myself off that now onto sparkling water in an attempt to be more healthy, and because the diet lemonade was making me more thirsty it was getting into a vicious cycle!

I had a pizza hangover the other night, thoroughly enjoyed my dominoes but was up all night, literally, having to drink water to try and stem my thirst/dry mouth - wasted no end of sleep!!

I find it easier to eat at lunchtime, rather than dinner time. By then I don't really want anything or can't decide what to have.
 
Still no official cravings but tastebuds have definitely changed.

Im enjoying rocket more and especially chip shop chips.

sweet foods are too sweet.

I had a sri lankan street food dish a few weeks ago and it was absolutely delicious, so i decided to try it again a few days ago but found it too sweet.

Potato salad more than ever at the moment! I spoiled myself and bought extra special yesterday and my god!!..party in the mouth! :lol: I'm also not getting out of this with waistline still intact haha! It's now moved from tangy orange tango ice lollies to twister ice lollies..i have literally a freezer full of em!! And orange juice! (Has to be smooth, ice cold and over ice)

Find out on Wednesday what gender were carrying..will be interesting to know as now all savoury food repulses me :/
 
Sebbiesmum I cant get enough of orange juice either.
My cravings are turnig towards sweeter things instead of savoury (a few weeks ago it was only savoury) so dont they say it could be a sign of a girl if its sweet stuff?

I find out on Wednesday what gender were expecting, it's going to be an interesting theory to test, Since they also say the faster the heart beat also may point to girls too (it was 150bpm at 16 weeks)

I'm literally living off twister ice lollies at the moment as everything savoury is gross to me! I can't eat meat :(, but I'm partial to cheese so it's going to be interesting to see what were cooking :D
 
I've had oven chips for lunch every day for a week.

Just a tray of oven chips. With lashings of salt and vinegar. I eat them straight off the baking tray!!!

Back to work after a bit of time off (on Wednesday) so no oven chips for lunch :mad:
 
I'm just starting to get a bit of an appetite back as my sickness has started to ease :dance: I'm particularly enjoying Cinnamon and raisin toasted muffins today :) I've also been better eating my greens and veggies which I had, worryingly, completely gone off!!

Still potato salad! It's the only savoury thing that doesn't repulse or nauseate me at the thought of eating it! :/ ive gone off all fruit and veg (apart from strawberrys I can eat the punnet :lol: )

Coffee!! (I'm naughty but sod it it makes me happy..especially at work :lol: )

Orange juice and ice and of course twister ice lollies! This little lady has a lot to answer for when she makes her appearance! :lol:

Still chips for me! Between heartburn and headaches I've not ventured away from them much although I have a really big craving for jack Daniels chicken wings from TGI Fridays but as the nearest one to me is an hour away and I refuse to drive the distance for chicken that's a craving that won't be satisfied anytime soon lol
 
Biscuits, pancakes, ice cream, Nutella. Everything that's bad for you :lol:
I still love chips and salt and vinegar
 
Craving warm milk/lattes a lot. Before I would never have entertained milk at all. Must be body/baby wanting/needing calcium.
Apart from that cravings aren't as heightened as they were in the first trimester.
