Cramping after Orgasm!!

Hi im new to first tri (4th baby but new to this forum) so anyways last night me and OH dtd and i Orgasmed (TMI) and after i had a comtraction like cramp for maybe 20mins after it slowly eased off.... has anyone else experienced this?! Should i be worried? Bit anxious about it being like this right through my pregnancy! Xx

I had the same problem earlier in my pregnancy. I bought this book and I found the answer in it. It is called What to Expect When You Are Expecting. It said that the uterus contracts after orgasm and the contractions (feeling like cramps) can be stronger or weaker in different women. It also said that studies have shown that couples who are sexually active during pregnancy actually have lower rates of premature labor. Now that I am 28 weeks, I find it really awesome when I get those cramps after sex, because I can actually see the baby move from one side of my belly to the other. My fiance has been kicked a few times too. It is an amazing feeling, and I wouldnt trade it for the world.

I’ve had this cramping a few times after sex, but everything has been fine since.
