So I noticed Jackson has now got cradle cap... At 2 and a half years old ?? I had no idea toddlers could get it but he has never had it before.

Anyone recommend some good shampoos for it??

Xxx

My LO has had it for ages. She's not long turned 2. I know you can get shampoo for cradle cap from the pharmacy under minor ailments. X

I used the Detinox Cradle Cap Shampoo and it worked on my little girl, all cleared up now!

Hi, not sure if it works for all ages but our daughter had cradle cap and we put coconut oil on nightly, rub in, leave for 20mins then brush the loose flakes off. Was then washed twice a week to remove the oils. Worked a treat and got rid of it, thing is our lil miss loves it so much that im still doing it as part of bedtime routine lol...perhaps its keeping it at bay...

Coconut oil is amazing for everything. I try the reg shampoo for it from pharmacy, if nothing ill use the coconut oil.

Thank youuu xxxx

My nephew had it
They massaged olive oil in x

I use coconut oil for her general baby massage too as thats also part of her routine, no allergic reactions and is better for her skin than baby oil...couldnt believe how fast it treated the cradle cap tho, I remember reading that it should take care of it in one treatment and I thought 'yeah right!' but after 4/5 days I was seeing very obvious improvements...

My son still has it!! I've tried to use a bit of coconut oil but it makes his hair so greasy and I don't even have a brush! :/

Oh maybe it only works on new baby skin then not sure....yeah the brush is kinda important to begin with, it was like dealing with a load of scabs, once you get started brushing the flakes you get kinda addicted...I was so excited the day the last flake fell off its sad! some places suggest rub it in, leave 20mins, brush then wash off the oil...mayb that would work? The key is the 20mins, after that it can come off, I found with our lil miss it works better being left on overnight as she has so little hair anyway....especially her bald patch!
