Have you been using cows milk in cereal and cooking etc? Are you breast or bottle feeding?

I started giving Ellie milk with her morning snack at 9am, tea at 3:30am at a couple of weeks before her 1st birthday as she had dropped completely her afternoon bottle. I then gave her cows milk at 4:30 to discourage her from wanting a breast feed then and that worked nicely. After that I started giving her cows milk with her breakfast in a glass instead of giving her a breast feed in the morning.

Now the only breastfeed she has is just before bed, however I don't think a glass of milk is going to cut it yet.

hiya nicky

she is bottle fed and is on 2/3 bottles aday, i use formular milk on her cereal but in things like mashed potatoe for dinners its normal cows milk, she also eats baby yoghurts but is not keen on custard

I would switch now to cows milk in cereal (it is allowed at 6months) ahead of switching over the bottles to formula. That way she should start to get used to the taste.

brilliant!

thankyou very much ill try that 2moro morning and see how she gets on with it
