Couple abondon twin girls...

A couple have gone to india for IVF. They sucessfully gave brith to twin girls but as soon as they found out they said they didnt want the babies. The first thing the man said was 'how long will it be before we can go back to India to try again for a boy'
Just been on GMTV this morning.....


I would love to just go to that hospital now and say just give me the girls and ill look after them poor darlings

She had them by c-sec and when hospital staff told her that they where 2 girls ...they both refused to see them or have anything to do with them! Apparently they havent even held them..or looked at them!

That is shocking, why did they go in to have IVF if they clearly weren't desperate to have these two little darlings.

i have just read about this on a news website also, its disgusting. they shouldnt be allowed to have it again if they have abandoned these twins. there are poeple out there who desperately desperately want babies but cant have ivf on nhs and cant afford to go anywhere else yet this couple will just keep trying until they get a boy, it makes you sick. i hope those little girls get a home and a family that loves and wants them as much much as they deserve!

It's bloody disgusting! Saw it in the paper this morning and couldn't quite believe it! How could you abandon two baby girls just like that? They should never have been allowed IVF at their ages anyway and should never be allowed it again! Makes me so sad for all the desperate couples out there who would give anything to have just one baby let alone two gorgeous little girls! Makes me sick!

I have to add with this being all over the news and that I really don't think anyone is going to let them have IVF again because there is every chance that they could have girls again and not only that but if they did in my eyes they are just as bad as the parents!

Disgusting! It is a wonder they were even allowed IVF at their age anyway but to abandon 2 lil helpless babies because they weren't boys is despicable!!

I will admit that when I found out I was pregnant I REALLY wanted a girl but if I found out we were having a boy I'd still be happy as he would be my child and I would love him no matter what!!

Its absolutely shocking

................to us. The trouble is this is way too common in Indian (they are both Indian) Baby girls are seen as inferior to boys which continue the blood line and families often can't afford a bride's dowry.
There are even baby cradles around Indian cities so babies can be abandoned safety.

Hopefully they won't be allowed further IVF in India
