Morning all

I know the General rule is that you should replace mattresses for each child to reduce the risk of sids however the mattress I have from my DD is not absorbent in anyway, it's got like a plastic outside if that makes sense

will I still need to replace?

Where has it been stored? If in the house (not loft or garage) then I would reuse. I'm planning on reusing ours if we have another and will store it in the wardrobe so I can.

yes it's just been in out spare room. I will replace if I need to but its in such good Nick I'd rather keep it as was £75 new

I wont be reusing mine as it has got a little less firm since I bought it and my daughters been sleeping on it amd firmness is really important for newborms xxx

I will replace the crib one but not the cotbed one. It is just like new and cost alot to buy. Mines been stored in the house and it's only been used by us so we know the history of it x
