Right, sorted out a cot now, but before I order, was wondering what the best type of matress was for a cot, was thinking of a sprung one??? more expensive than a foam one, but dont mind the cost if sprung is best??

Anyone got any experiences or prefrences???xxx

Hmmmm pass on this one, we havent even looked at cots or cot mattresses as my auntie is giving us her Mama & Papas antique oak hand carved cot..its gorgeous and she is buying a new mattress to go in it!

A sprung one sounds nice though :D

ours is a prung matress its lovely! looks better than the one on our bed lol

We just went to Toys are us and got the best one we could afford.

If you go, they have about 10 different kinds, just pick the one that suits your budget, the nicest one you can get for what you want to spend.

Just to warn you I had a foam one and when Aaron got a bit older he hated it and refused to sleep in his own cot. I had to buy a new sprung one and the last two nights he has slept from 7.30pm to 6am.

Thanks gals, ordered a sprung one, it arrives a week saturday with the cot, yippppeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!! xxx

we were told that the foam ones don't last as long and that they are not so easy to maintain if the get wet etc. the sprung ones are mopre expensive but better quality and durable.
