Cot bed sheets vs other sheets?

We have a cot, not a cot bed but have been gifted some cot bed fitted sheets. Is this a problem?! I don't understand the difference between a fitted sheet for a cot and a cot bed. Surely a sheet is a sheet?

A cot bed mattress might be a little bigger but you can obviously still use the sheets as like you say .... a sheet is a sheet and as long as it's not too small then it'll be fine x

They're a bit bigger should be ok as long as they're well tucked in tightly

Yep bigger..... Would be a pain if you'd done it the other way around x
