I'm going to a function and wearing quite a fitted dress (not much bumpage yet)

Can I wear control pants ?

My mum assumed there's no way I'd go out without them and I'm not sure if you should wear them when pregnant (16 weeks) xxx

Is it to cover/pull in your belly?

If not, then you can get pregnancy pants that leave your bump alone

I wouldn't bother personally as I'd find them too uncomfortable

I wouldn't. They are designed to pull everything in, and baby bumps (no matter how little) shouldn't really be squished.
That's just my personal opinion though x

I wouldn't wear normal ones, I don't like the idea of squishing LO and also I think they would be soooo uncomfy!

Spanx do maternity control pants though, that don't cover your bump and just do your bum and thighs, if you have a google- I'm sure they're called mama-something :) x

I'd get a pair of the maternity ones, as the control pants I sued to wear we're so tight over my stomach I don't think I could have beared it!
