Consultation appointment results

Hi all

After a year of tests, tests and more tests we've finally been given a treatment plan.

My egg count was v v high but pcos meant I don't ovulate so they have suggested clomid which I was hoping for.

However I had a cyst on my ovary th last time I had a scan so they want to re do that before starting treatment which could take up to 8 weeks (what's another 8 weeks hey)

In the meantime I've been given metformin so that it's in my system before starting clomid as the doctor said it helps it work better.

I've read about metformin and clomid but have any of you ladies combined them and had success?

Hi, I have just takem my last dose of clomid and am also on metformin. I haven't ovulated on clomid but I was naughty and took 150mg this month and got my first positive on a CB digi ovulation test this morning so fingers crossed for this month.

There's another lady who's just given birth and she was on clomid and metformin.

From the research I've done the success rates are good and alot of women conceive on clomid without the metformin so fingers crossed you won't be waiting much longer for your BFP! x
