Confused...

So I think everything is pretty much ready for baby. We brought our Moses basket and it doesn't make sense to me... The mattresses are all really thin and hard!? Why is this?!

They do tend to be like that. Baby is comfortable tho, they aren't like us and have the weight behind them so it doesn't feel the same I would imagine. It's the same if you were to lie in a cot (from experience with my dd lol) they aren't comfy at all to us adults!

SAME HERE!!! Just got ours and it's a thin plasticky mattress (all from mothercare)- was a bit worried! Thanks for the reassurance T84. Is it ok that it's plastic though? I thought we'd need something more breathable.

I thought it'd be a lot softer. They go from lovely warm soft tum to a hard biscuit matress!! X
