Confused

Is this my period or is it lochia? I gave birth nearly 7 weeks ago and i thought the lochia had stopped maybe a week and a half ago, i really can't remember anyway i have just started bleeding, its light just now but red. is that it back on or am i getting my period? I thought if you were breastfeeding it would take longer to return? The only other sympton im getting is i feel sick.

I think if you stopped bleeding it is probably your period. A lot of people still get periods when they are breastfeeding. X

I stopped bleeing and then started again for a bit but it wasn;t like a proper period. If it's licht it may be bit more lochia or could be period. I bf and had one when LO was about 4 months x

Sounds like period. I had my periods start fairly quickly for a breastfeeder. They have only gotten later and later in the last couple of months, this one is approx 9ish days late, so hard to work out my cycle now, but yeah you can defo have periods while breastfeeding!
