Confused....

Hi ladies

This is a long story but I will try to keep it short!!

Myself & OH got married in July. During this and honeymoon I took the Microgynon pill straight through for 2 months so I didn't have an af during wedding & honeymoon. While we were away I had food poisoning...

The first period after this was 4days later than 'normal' (if I had been taking my pill and having the normal 1 week break!)

This menstrual cycle I am in now started on Sept 26th....haven't had a period since then.

According to my 'normal' cycles I should have had af around 21st Oct....nothing!!

Myself and my OH then made the decision to stop taking the pill in order to get my cycles sorted out ready to start TTC.

On the Friday or Saturday I had a thick lump of stetchy mucus when I wiped after going to the loo (TMI..sorry!)

Did a CBD on the Wednesday after being convinced I was PG....sore nipples, cramping. It was a BFN!!

Went to docs thurs am...got told I could be in very early pregnancy and do another test this weekend.

When I got home I had a few spots of blood....

I still have sore nipples, back ache and feel a bit metallicy in my mouth (don't know how else to explain it!)

Can anyone offer me any advice? Do you think I could be PG?

the metal in the mouth is a good pregnancy sign i had it on my 1st 3 everytime i tried to drink tea or coffee you could be very early on try a more sensitive brand of test as the cbd are not as sensitive xx

The first test i did was a first response and got a very clear positive then went the next day and got clear blue, would have been about 2 weeks pregnant i think ... Sounds very positive though xx

Which brands are the most sensitive? I'm new to all this...it's all very confusing!!

I'd do a first response test hun, they're meant to be the best. Symptoms sound good hun, hope it's a BFP! x

P.S. Out of curiosity, could I ask where you honeymooned? My husband got food poisoning on our honeymoon too! x

Yep. We got married in July as well. It was the first and only month I'd ever used the pill (Same one as you) and came off it at the very beginning of August and we've been TTC since. My periods aren't regular anyway (last cycle was 50 days) so I don't really know where I'm at each cycle as I've had fertile mucus on random days lol. I asked about the honeymoon as we went to Egypt and my husband got a dodgy stomach whilst we were out there, wondered if by any chance you'd gone to the same place. x
