So just got the results from my scan and dr confirmed PCOS. They said they won't do anything yet as we've not been TTC long enough. Just lose weight etc. Gonna try soy next cycle though I think.

Do you have much to lose? To be honest I extended the truth about how long we'd been trying for and was referred quickly. Definitely try soy, there are so many other natural remedies you can try.
I wholeheartedly recommend a low GI now sugar/no carb diet to help with PCOS (it'll also help you lose weight)

Hi, problem is they know how long we've been TTC as I went to them for a preconception appointment to come off anti- anxiety meds so it's noted down as May. I've just ordered a PCOS diet book from Amazon to look into, I have heard about the low GI/gluten free. I'll try anything!

Ah, that's fair enough! There's absolutely no reason why the natural route won't work for you.
Lots of fantastic stories about conceiving on Metformin (including me!) if that's something your GP would consider?

I can't say the diet is that easy, but I do believe it works. Inositol and cinnamon are meant to work for PCOS, also spearmint tea to lower testosterone levels xx

I asked about Metformin but she wants to wait till next May before she'll consider anything. Thanks for those tips Hun, will look into it x

I have PCOS and highly recommend the low GI diet. It look me years to get a proper diagnosis and metformin so I had to self-medicate. Inositol is great. Chromium and cinnamon is a natural version of metformin if you want to try it. It worked really well for me (I had excessive, prolonged bleeding with no CM) as nothing else seemed to work.

I haven't got my BFP yet but I have only just been able to start metformin. Chromium finally allowed me to get EWCM which I get every month now. Xxx
