Just wondering if anyone watches "The baby whisperer" programmes on discovery home and health at 11am? I've watched em all so far, Tracy Hogg is amazing!!! She had a baby today whose mum has been feeding baby herself for 8 weeks, mum tried introducing formula but baby refused, breast milk in the bottle doesn't work either. For the baby it was boob or nothing! Mum wanted more flexability in feeding, and going back to work eventually, and has a young toddler also who is damanding attention too. Mum wants to combine boob and bottle.
Tracy Hogg showed mum the difference between normal bottles and the bottles she uses. Normal bottles have a continuous flow nipple and baby can't have a break, compared the the bottle she uses "the Haberman Feeder" which is like breast feeding as baby can control the flow and stop it at will, it also is fab for wind as because of the bottle design it doesn't let any air in.
The haberman bottle worked a treat and mum can now breast feed and bottle feed with no probs, also dad can feed baby too
I've ordered the bottles on ebay, great value. Hope this helps if, like me, you wanted the option.
