coil, good or bad idea

:wall: i have just had a ius coil fitted, and at the moment i haven't stopped bleeding. lauren is ten months old and told me i am too young for the coil. i am 24 and it will last till i am 29. i don't know whether i have done the right thing?

I had a coil fitted 2 years ago and had it removed last November.

i found it was fantastic, i did bleed for the first month a bit erratically but it soon settled and my cycles were more regular with the coil than they were on the pill.

I did have slightly worse PMS, spots and cramps but it was nothing of concern.

I would consider having another one, i had the non hormonal coil the Nova.

I think the Mirenas are better as they give you some hormone so you wouldn't suffer with the PMS so bad and periods can stop completely which could be a good thing!
