Clomid an ha progesterone from GP UK

Hi All, we've been TTC for 16 months now with no joy. To conceive our son we saw a private fertility consultant and were given clomid and progesterone and conceived on the fourth cycle using those. However, they insisted on doing multiple scans and trigger shots etc, which with 2 young children is going to be really tricky so I was hoping to just be able to get it through the gp.
Has anyone else been prescribed clomid and / or progesterone by a GP in the UK please? Xx
