Clomid, 12mm follicle on cd 10, is there any hope?

So last cycle I took 50mg clomid cd 1-5 (i didn't respond). This cycle I took 100mg clomid cd1-5 and went for my US on Friday (cd10) there were a bunch of follicles 10mm or lower and 1 follicle of 12mm. They want me to come back on Tuesday (cd14) but they didn't seem hopeful at all and are already talking about next cycle. Has anyone had a follicle of 12mm on cd10 and seen it grow? Or am I out this cycle? I'm getting so impatient and frustrated. We've been trying to conceive for nearly 2 years.

Yep, my follicles were non existant that early. I ovulated between day 18 and 24 on clomid and so follicles grew much later than 'normal'. My clinic were happy with that though.

Bit surprised you are on days 1-5, mostly hear about 2-6 or 3-7. I got stronger ovulation 3-7 and will do 3-7 again if we ttc a second.

Thank you so much for replying! I've never done any of these forums but I'm just going absolutely crazy and just so sad all the time I just had to find out what other women have experienced. Yeh from what ive read online I haven't seen many women on the cd1-5 way of doing it! Maybe I'll say next time I'm in! I really appreciate you telling me ur experience and definitely feel a bit more hopeful. Last cycle they just saw no response by cd14 that they didn't do any more scans but maybe I should ask for further scans after cd14 as maybe I will just ovulate later?

Worth asking about more scans, are you doing opks or temping too?

Yeh I go through phases of using opks and temping. I'm not temping ATM because I e had to take provera to induce my periods and I think my body is just getting use to everything. I'm using opks ATM but have never has a positive one the entire time I've used them so really would love to see a positive!! X

Well unfortunately the 12mm follicle was nowhere to be seen and I only had 9mm and 10mm follicles. She said I had loads on both sides which has made my lining thick but that there were no mature follicles and that this cycle is a bust. Onto the next cycle I guess ��

Are you going up a dose again for your next cycle? Fingers crossed for you.

Yeh they are increasing my does to 150mg- hopefully that will do the trick! ����
