clingy

My son is 21 months old and will not leave my side he follows be toilet, kitchen door where ever i go he is either tugging my leg or holding my hand. he has to watch tv on my lap and eat what i am eating, whens hes tired i have to go bed because for some reason if he aint near me he wakes up.. were ttcing and this is effecting out .
is any1 elses child like this please help

my eldest was a clingy little thing and still is even at 7 years old. He did sleep all night in his own bed tho. Everywhere i went, he was there, shower, toilet, washing the dishes, he couldn't and still doesn't play on his own, he needs constant attention. I wished i could have changed my name to someting other than mammy coz he must have said it about a million times a day. He can't sit beside me, no thats not good enough, he has to be touching me constantly, drives me mad!!

I never did anything to address it but i think if you have a word with your HV she might be able to suggest a few things that might ease the clingyness, good luck xx
