I've always avoided OPKs because after trying them for a few days because I just couldn't hack the disappointment with all of the negatives.

Anyway, I need to give this ago because I need to know if I actually do ovulate.

I have a 27/28 day cycle and have been testing CD10 and CD11. I only get a round circle. I thought I may at least get a smiley face by now even if it isn't the peak fertility flashing smiley face.

I know I'm being impatient but just wondered if anybody could tell me when I should (in an ideal world) see a solid smiley face. As its a 4 day test surely a solid smiley face on day CD 11 ready for peak fertility CD13/14?

Hi, I had the same last month I kept trying every afternoon! And finally got the smiley face 6days later than expected! (Doctor said it was due to coming off pill! My body needed time to re-a just! however I was waiting patiently for a pregnancy test to become positive but my period came yesterday a day early! good luck xx

I have 28 day cycles and got the smiley face CD 16. Before that there was 4 flashing smiley faces (testing with dual hormone indicator). Carry on with your test and I'm sure you will see one too
