Clear blue digital hcg levels

Ok so I was wondering when the digi's change there number of weeks pregnant and found this out on the clear blue website. Though it could be useful for everyone xx

Not pregnant 0 - 24miu

1-2 weeks pregnant 25 - 199miu

2-3 weeks pregnant 200 - 1,999 miu

3+ weeks pregnant over 2,000 miu

I got 3+ on mine so thought I was about 5 weeks....nearly fell of the ultrasound table when she said 9+3 lol, it was 2 weeks further than I thought at that time . It would be good if they invented one that you could use after bfp to see how many weeks you really are xxxxxxx

Aww no, I'm gonna be ages before I get my 2-3 then!!

We were gonna wait to tell parents after we got the 2-3, but might have to tell them either way now. I'm rubbish at keeping secrets, especially from my mum and SIL!

yea i found that really annoyin that it only shows 3+ at most when u cud actually be further on than that.i like how it doesnt mention this when they advertise it on telly,just said it even tells u how far along u r,thats why i rushed out and bought it xxxx

it does actually say on the advert that it only shows upto then, its a gimmick to get you to buy the more expensive ones thats all. after all it does tell you if your pregnant or not at the end of the day x

I agree ladies that it would be nice to have a test you can take at any point to tell you how far you were (In fact can I invent it and take it on Dragons Den? )

Its odd though that they seem to suggest either that sensitivity of the test is 25miu or that levels lower than this which show up on more sensitive tests dont mean a positive pregnancy?

If you get a line on a 10miu then what does this mean? becuase it would cue a lot of heartache for people getting positives but arent pregnant?
Im a little confused.

Ithink the reason that the test doesn't go up more than 3 weeks is that the hcg levels in women breatly vary which means you would never get an accurate result later in pregnancy.
