Hi All,

I have heard that classical music can be very soothing to both Baby and Mum. I thought it might help with my stress/anxiety levels too.

Just wondering if anyone can recommend a cd?

Dee. xx

oh yeah I heard about that. My sister used to play classical music to her baby when she was going to sleep until she was about 2 yo. I tried sleeping in the same room a couple of times, but found it a bit annoying I must say. And her daughter didn't exactly grow up very calm... But hey, the idea itself is v good I think, and certainly won't do any harm!

sorry, I can't actually recommend a CD - don't know any :) Just in a chatty mood :)

I thought it may be of benefit whilst i'm preg as i am a bit of a stress head and i don't want the baby be affected by it. Hoping that i will find it calming!! Knowing me i will prob find it annoying too!! We will see! x

i said to my OH last night that i want to play some classical music to bump, read somewhere that it's supposed to help the synapses of the brain develop more complex links!

my uncle played "Beethoven at bedtime" to both of my cousins when they were babies to help them sleep! so we were thinking of getting that CD and playing it in the evening while still pregnant, then can use it to sooth baby once he's here :)

I've just ordered a cd off Amazon called "Classical Baby". looks good and has great reviews! Can't wait to give it a try now! x
