Clary Sage Oil

Not that I'm getting impatient or anything But have just found some references to Clary Sage Oil on the internet and the suggestion that bathing in it can start off labour. Anyone have any info and opinions.

you know my opinion is to just sit and wait for it all to hapen naturally. You have a lot better labour that way coz the baby is ready to come out.

I know your right but I'm dead scared about going over as they still havent scaned me for size and EVERYONE keeps telling me boys are bigger than girls as are subsequent babies. I just know I'm gonna give birth to a 18lb monster

I believe some hospitals ban clary sage oil because of the effect it may have, so reckon it's pretty potent. Tread carefully!

believe me they will know if the baby is too big for you. I do understand how scared you feel though. Ive had a 9Ib baby and had a lot of touble pushing her out and ive been told this baby is a good size too. BUT you have to believe in your body and go with the flow. Its got to come out now no matter what.

its ok you've put up with enough of mine.

im scared too about the size but i think once we're in labour we will be just fine.
We will be stronger than we think miracle babe.

I used clary sage mixed with sweet almond oil on my bump and also had it in my bath. Got so fed up of the smell of it! Ella was here 3 days early, don't know if that had anything to do with it.

I remember someone saying recently though that it can distress the baby, think it might have been Cat?
