Was looking through the posts on 'Wine at Christmas' and just wondered if a glass of cider would be considered ok over the chrimbo period?

I had half a glass of wine the other week, but am waiting out till xmas now, and id LOVE a glass of cider on xmas day!!!!! Magners of course, with ice

Im sure a glass of cider would be fine.......I had a real craving for cider a few weeks ago, and found that Tesco do a 0.5% low alcohol cider, and Sainsburys do one with just less than 1% - needs to be the bigger stores though, and sometimes with the ciders and other times with the non/low alcohol beers! The best thing is they taste really good, and even better with the glass full of crushed ice..........

You could drink a couple of bottles of these on Xmas day and still have had very little alcohol!

Cool!!!! Do you know the name of these ciders??? We dont have a Tesco OR a Sainsburys near us so may have to order online!!

I don't think there would be any harm in having a glass or 2 to be honest Jaidy - have you tried Kopparberg pear cider? It's gorgeous!!
