christmas gifts

For the last couple of years, I havent bought anything for nieces and nephews as I have eight of them! I just couldn't really afford it with mums, dads & grandparents to buy for too! I felt awkward and want to buy gifts this year, especially as we will have a son next year and people will buy for him.

What do you think, is it mean not to buy for all the children or is it me feeling guilty?

That's a lot to buy for!

Either tell people next year that you don't expect pressies for your lo as you can't afford to buy so many back or just buy them all something small such as a small selection pack each?

similar situation for me... with cousins and friends having babies - i just couldn't afford to buy them all a present.. but this year i feel i should as i have a little one of my own.. also not sure if they'll buy for mine this year (bit embarrasing if i don't have something for theirs) SO... i decided to buy a little present for each of them and say they're from JACOB...

You don't have to spend a lot on them, I'd get small gifts, they are always the ones that end up getting played with more anyway.
If they are brothers and sisters how about a big box of craft stuff? You can pick up stuff like that dirt cheap, and they could share it between them.
