I saw this posted on a Christmas FB group and thought it was a great idea.

On Christmas Eve we're going to give each of the children a wrapped Christmas Eve box containing things like their Christmas Eve pyjamas, a mug to make hot chocolate in, some sweets, a christmas activity book, etc in.

Any ideas on other things that could go in there?

This is such a lovely idea. I will do one too!!!! How about magic reindeer food? x

Oh how lovely :D what a great family tradition :) um, maybe some new slippers? A copy of "the night before Christmas"? X

My mum has done Xmas eve presents for us since we were kids.

We always get pjs, slippers, undies and socks! I'm 30 now and still get one wry year!

She also holds a party every Xmas eve which was created for grans etc to dip off presents. In going to start doing it this year! Can't wait!

I totally believe in Santa!

Please excuse any typos from my fat fingers!

Anyone know where I can buy really good Xmas activity books? Xx

Lovely Idea! A decoration for them to put on the tree? :)

OMG this is fab :) my boys are still little but it would be great to set a family tradition ::) aaawwww im soooo excited :) xx

So far I have got:-

Kaye - 14. She has got pyjamas with matching squishy slipper socks and a Santa mug.

Lucy - 11. She has got pyjamas with matching socks and a santa mug.

MJ - 6. She has got pyjamas and a santa mug.

Harry - 2 He has his pyjamas.

I need to get:-

for Kaye - Teen magazine, marshmallows, hot chocolate sachet. Some Jelly Belly jelly beans. I love the idea of a decoration for the tree.

for Lucy - Christmas themed activity book. I reckon you can get these in The Works, the £shop or Tesco/Asda. Marshmallows, hot chocolate sachet. Some Lindor chocolate.

for MJ - Fluffy socks, Christmas themes activity book, marshmallows, hot chocolate sachet. Jelly Bellys and a santa stop here sign.

Harry - Christmas themed bib, hard christmas themed book. Christmas sweets. No sure what else to put in for the little guy lol

Doodles has one of these each year, he has

Pyjamas
Christmas dvd
hot chocolate set
treats for Santa & Rudolph
Christmas book

we don't tend to put sweets in as he's wired enough on Christmas eve

Reindeer food would be great for my 6 yr old. I think I will add that.

Every year I take Imogen to Xmas eve mass. As she gets in the car, on her bed I leave her special pjs and a Christmas book.

She thinks its the Christmas fairies... I still get excited about it!!!

Can't see tickers because I'm on my phone!

I think this is awesome! I will print it out and stick it onto an envelope.
