Chocolate, cake, biscuits

Exactly... go what feels right for you and your LO

So far Jacob has had.... Milky bars/buttons, Cadbury's chocolate, chocolate cake, custard creams, crisps (but he prefers the Organix carrot sticks), an oven chip, hot crossed buns, ice cream and even pizza and garlic bread from Frankie & Bennies! :D I personally don't have a problem with him eating all these types of foods in moderation. He also has plenty of fruit and veg which he loves and lots of homemade dinners.

I was 3 years old before I had a taste of chocolate or any sweets and all through my childhood my mam was VERY strict on what we had and couldn't have. Since I left school and became more independent with what I eat I admit i've made bad food choices and I feel that is because I have craved things I wasn't allowed IYKWIM?

However, now Jacob is eating foods which we eat I do tend to make very healthy meals which is a good thing :)

Iz doesnt have a lot of cakes/chocolate or anything. She has fruit, yoghurt or a rusk for dessert, but thats not to say she hasnt tried stuff  If we go out for a meal she always has a little bit of our icecream after the meal. And at christmas....well.....this happened....

She had some chocolate gateux (spelling??) and was more impressed with the smearing than the eating. She's actually not fussed about sweet things at all come to think of it. I have never seen her eat an entire rusk. 1/3 into it and she lobs in on the floor.

I wouldnt want her to have this all the time, and it was just at christmas so i dont think im toooo naughty

Evie has organix carrot crisps and Bear biscuits. Shes tried mainly not given by me White chocolate and milk chocolate buttons, milkshake, a few skips, a marshmallow, birthday cake a few times and the other day I found her with a box of jelly babies and she had one half chewed in her mouth which i took away. She seems more into the cat and kittens food at my Moms then sweeties. She alsp grabs the kitten, drags him on to her lap and bites him :|

Iz would fight you to get some of these...she loooves them
Emma loves the sweetcorn ones! She breaks them in half so she's got a bit in each hand and stuffs them down!!! :D

Kys not fussed on the organix range at all but he'll happily eat quavers  He does love his chocolate and he gets too much from relatives. Im always telling nanny off for spoiling him with chocolate. He loves fruit and his proper cooked meals so i see no harm in a bit of chocolate. He def prefers his fruit to chocolate though. He had a slice of my chocolate orange the other day but was more interested in painting my furniture with it rather than eat it!

Id rather him have chocolate than some of the other stuff hes tried to eat! ive caught him in the cats bowl, and he has a thing for ripping up grass and mud and scoffing it :puke: on our last holiday he also ate god knows how much sand at the beach. Ive also been told he has a thing for wax crayons and chalk in nursery!

  The thought of sand and chalk in your mouth :puke: Made me cringe when I read that

Maddison has a bit of everything. She loves her fruit and veg as much as she loves chocolate and crisps :D

Well i craved gritty textures when i was pregnant  and yes i had a thing for dry dirt and chalk  :shhh: maybe thats why my son likes it so much?!

I gave Connie a sip of baby fruit juice the other day and she squealed for an hour (needed earplugs), we also had a similar episode after an apricot (natural sugars?) . I'm going to try and discourage sweets and chocolate but we rarely have it in the house anyway as I tend not to snack and have 3 meals a day at set times so it won't be something she will be used to seeing or be easily availabe to her. Chocolate makes me feel sick :puke: , I love crisps though :D
