Does anybody know the cost per day of a childminder? I know rates will vary, but just to give me an idea.

In the South the rates are £2.50 - £3.50 per hour, london and other areas may be more.

my friend is a childminder and she charges £3 an hour. £25 for a full day and £15 for half a day.

Hi,

I'm a childminder! It varies quite a lot in different areas. I live just north of Leeds. I'm probably the cheepest in the village by a pound or two and charge £31 for a whole day. Occasionally I'll offer half day rates at £15 and rarely will offer hourly rates at £4.
