help with amazon

hi this is probably a really stupid question but i have never used amazon before.

If i buy several different things from different sellers do i have to pay postage for each item or is there one set fee as i have looked at delivery rates and it says per item and then per delivery you add together.

Im so confused as what in will be paying per item

If you are buying the items directly from amazon then you will only be charged one amount of postage or non at all depending on the money you spend.
However if you are buying off another seller via amazon then yes you would have to pay postage for each of the items you buy if they are all off different sellers.
