probably for ex-ttc'ers who might have lotsa spare pregnancy tests...

well i foned the hosp today about my m/c and was told in 10 days to do a pg test it should be negative, if not then i need to go back in as there may be stuff left over. she said my hcg should be zero (well, negligible) within 10-14 days, and can either do a home test or go to hosp for one. well, home bargains do pg tests for 89p each (those tiny dippy-stick ones), but i might need 4 or 5 (in case its still positive after 10 days, i'll do it every day til 15 days in which case if still not neg will fone the hosp) and i dont really wanna spend almost £4 just to rub it in that i'v lost my baby :( i could go to the hosp i know theirs would be free but its 7 miles away so petrol, parking etc it wont save me any money.

so, cheeky question is- if anyone has any spare pregnancy tests they wont be using, would anyone mind sending me a few if i PM my address? if i dont get any PMs in 10 days it doesnt matter i'll jusdt buy some from home bargains. but i thought i might as well ask (see, told u it was cheeky!)

thx in advance x

The poundshop cheapies I got were 2 for a quid - 1st Aid or something like that. They were pretty sensitive too and picked up on the same day as the clearblue digi one did. Would probably cost more in postage than to buy them

Oh yes the first aid ones are fine, I have used them too
