im getting really scared now ive been up half the night worrying and having nightmares 
and im still feeling really sick this morning but dont know if its stress or morning sickness or mixture of both really wish i didnt have to go work today only working 4 hours but cant face it today xxxxxxxxx

Just popped in to catch up with everyone
I had some quite bad sickness in the week, but now its completely disappeared. I hated it while I had it but now I'm worried that its gone! A friend of mine told me she just felt sick between 6 and 8 weeks and I'm 8 weeks on Monday, so I suppose it might be normal.
Been feeling a few stretching cramps today. I think between weeks 7 and 9 the embryo doubles in size. Last sunday at my scan it was 9.7mm.
My stomach is getting really big. Its not hard, more like bloated, but I bought a second pair of dorothy perkins linen maternity trousers and they're great. I was in the store and the assistant was asking me about the weather and I said I didn't really like it being so hot and she said "well I suppose its harder in your condition!"
I did blush a bit!

rach - just noticed that you're having your scan on monday - all the best. I had one last sunday and it was all fine. They didn't even have to use the internal route, which I was quite pleased about. She smeared the gel over my belly (below belly button), put the scanner on it, pressed down a bit and she immediately saw the heart beat. I was 6 weeks 6 days. Its strange because before I had the scan I told that it would have to be internal and to go and empty my bladder!

satch hope they dont have to do it internally i had an early scan on christopher at 6+2 and they just managed to see heartbeat on him so im hoping will be same on this one the epau has told me to drink a pint of water so they are obviously going to try externally so fingers crossed

Hi all 
Hope everyone is ok.
I feel pretty crap today. I am just so tired, and my head really hurts. I feel a bit queasy again but still no sickness. I had quite a busy day yesterday - I went to the meet (there was only 4 of us!) then I was visiting my folks in the evening so didn't get home until midnight. I suppose that might be why i feel like this today... Just feeling sorry for myself.
I am getting more concerned about how I am going to manage going on the school trip I'm supposed to be helping on in a couple of weeks - that will be really hectic. I have my docs appointment on Tuesday so might discuss it with her then - although there isn't much she can do!
I'm still in my pj's, on the sofa. Think I will just watch last nights Casualty!

As well, I ws so excited after we told my parents last night, but now I feel a bit down and i'm so worried something is going to go wrong now.
I was trying really hard not to think along those lines.
