hi all sorry not getting much time to post anything but am trying to read a bit on here every day and keep up with what you are all doing hugs to you all 
my brain is that fried at the moment i could never remember what anyone said anyway
but im still about watching for you all to have your little ones i have nurse coming every day to dress my wound which apparently is healing well now
and twins are improving every day yesterday owain managed 20 mls out of a bottle 
which is double what he has been taking the rest they did down his tube and ryan managed 30mls so big improvements there and they told us the only thing keeping them in hospital now is the fact that they cant bottle feed once they are being completely bottle fed and the nasal feeding tubes come out we should be able to bring them home they both lost some weight after birth but owain in nearly back up to his birth weight hes now 4-9 and ryan is 4-4 so they are doing amazing

On a high note my brother and his partner came round yesterday with a big thing stuffed full of baby things for me along with 2 bottles of Radox, 2 big bars of chocoalte and 2 small bottles of champange for us, it had everything from 2 big things of nappies to a gorgeous fluffy all in one and everything else im gonna need for hospital pretty much, i was so chuffed i cant tell you

Well I'm still here which my mum will be thankful for as she gets back from visiting my brother and his family today! She was so worried I'd have the baby while she was away, I hope she managed to enjoy herself bless her!

Im feeling today is a good day to have a baby so come on girls lets go for it.
I have a midwife appointment today at 1.15 and i hope shes going to tell me some good news after i tell her all my symptoms she might have a proper look. Fingers crossed she will say "well mrs porter i think you best get to hospital as your 8cm dialated" yerh right

Been having period pains for two days on and off now - Im hoping its Junior moving downwards (as head wasnt engaged last week) but I don't really feel like my bump is any different yet so we shall see.......

Ah ladies, your not alone in the pain stakes. I dropped my DD off at nursery this morning with the intention of parking at MAtalan, walking into town and doing a few things then doing my weekly shop. After crashing my car into a bolard (no damage thankfully) got out of the car and realised there was no way I would be able to manage walking into town as I was in agony, so just had a quick mooch around matalan, then on to do my weekly shop. Spent way too much!
Now I'm back home and ache all around my hips and back. I've also started getting more and more braxton hicks, god they are uncomfortable!
Rach, so glad to hear the boys are doing well and you also.
Hen, that's so lovely of your brother and SIL to treat you like that, really thoughtful. Now you've no excuse for not having a nice long hot soak.

well the christmas tree is up, just got to decorate the bloody thing, its taken me over an hour to sort out all the branches and put the lights on

hope were all okay i had a ood nights sleep going to take jayde to playgroup n a bit ,i cant wait for my growth scan on thursay morning just hope baby hasnt grown too big, whats everyone else up to today xxx

not doing much for the moment. I had my first raspberry leaf tea this morning, it was actually really tasty its my mum's bday today so off for a curry tonight. maybe that will get things moving!! oo 10 days to go

hope everyone's well. congrats on the week to go gals!! now, there's so many of us due in Dec, and a couple rolling over from Nov, so come on - someone has to get the ball rolling today!!

they are about the same weight as my friends twin girls who are now bouncy two year olds, it's hard to imagine they were once so tiny!chok - I've been having the period pains and was before my appointment when MW said LO was little bit engaged = sounds promising! Another encouraging note, as I know you've been worried, my MW also said that babies can engage up to 6 weeks before but also a day before! A friend of mine thinks her son never did!! She didn't feel it anyway!
well, I'm off to the birth centre this afternoon to collect a tens machine to hire. I'm so pleased that I have got past 37 weeks as I can now go to the birth centre as long as there's no probs! only thing is, LO has to be here before 40+12 so that I don't have to be induced!

Congrats to all the recent new mums!
Had my 28 week midwife app today & bloods taken again. Measuring bang on, everything great I had a tour of the delivery suite's & maternity unit it is really nice! Much better than my last. The birthing pool is huuuuge, dont think i'll be going in it though lol. The delivery suite's are double rooms so the OH can get into bed with me this time, excellent! We were both so tired last time and he had nowhere to kip bless it was so awkward.
The midwife said "second babies tend to pop straight out like pea's" Doubt it!... Im sure i'll get another long tiring labour! Really, really looking forward to the birth now though i must say. Not long to go x

I am also worried that baby is in the wrong position as at the class she said you want the back down your left side but I feel a lot of kicksetc on the left so I don't think it's the right way round. Will just see what she says I suppose...

Well I have had to phone in sick today I had a sore throat starting yesterday, now i have a headache and the coughs and sneezes too
I checked it doesn't affect when i start mat leave as it's not pregnancy related (apart from the fact I can't take anything for it!).
I feel guilty as i have classes all day but it just didn't seem worth it as i would only end up feeling worse.
So I think I am away back to bed. At least I won't be rushing to the MW now though, i can take my time.

Well I had a panic yesterday when I went to put the car seat that we used for DD in car and realised it doesn't fit (we've changed cars!!) It's one of those birth to 4 seats and is fine forward facing but not rear facing! So I spend a good hour on the net looking for a seat that we can use for baby's first year! I found one which I'm happy with but bloody hell I panicked!
Hope you're all having a slightly calmer time than me!
