Changing jobs whist on maternity leave

Hi

Could I ask some advice please? Should I change jobs on maternity leave would my accrued holiday pay (around three weeks) be deducted from the money I'd have to return to my employer for not returning (I would hv to repay them my half payments which I'll receive for three months).

I am just looking at options at the moment. I am aware Im entitled to keep the SMP.

If you owe them money (over smp) then they can deduct it from final pay as well as add on annual leave owed.

Need to remember though that depending on when your holiday year starts you may not have as much as you think because your entitlement reduces if you leave before the end of the holiday year
