changing formula question

we are currently using cow & gate stage 1 for Ellie,
she takes around 4oz per feed usually every 2-3 hours.

my question is when do we change to stage 2? it doesnt give you any info on the pack and i was just wondering if it went on age or how feeding was going?

any ideas?

I would say only go to stage two if shes really hungary and waking you all hours etc! that was the only reason we changed, we tried to keep her on stage 1 as long as poss but in the end she needed the slightly thicker powder and is still on it at nearly 7 months.

i changed over from sma gold to white about 4 weeks ago n my hv just sed use the rest of your tin then start the hungrier milk with next bottles you make up.
