cows milk and formula

lola is on cow and gate stage 3 but 2 weeks ago they ran out so i had to get stage 2. after that ran out i put her back on stage 3. now the same has happened again. so shes back on stage 2 until i get stage 3 again. sorry if this is confusing or sounds stupid!!
will this do any harm ??
its not like im swapping brands.
oh, shes 11months in 2 weeks and im going to start giving her cows milk then. do i not need to give formula at all ?

The advice is that you should continue to give your LO formula until they are at least 12months, but you can use cows milk before that time, say with their cereal for example, but it shouldn't replace their formula/bottles. Many people keep their LO's on stage1 formula until they are over 12months anyway, personally I've moved up the stages as Isaac's got older, but I doubt your moving from stage 2 to 3 and back again will have any adverse effect
