Hello girlies

I'm finanally getting round to changing my name...only been married for 7 months lol, but TTC and want everything in my married name - old fashioned i know!

Some people want certified copies of the orginal certificate for their files, who can certify these copies? preferably without having to pay for it!

ta in advance....

I need to get some certified copies of my deed poll for the same thing. I am pretty sure it is only a solicitor that can certify copies, so only free of you personally know one, otherwise I think they often charge around 15 quid. It is literally just a photocopy with a statement, signature and company stamp on it. Hope this helps!

hello - i work in a soliicitors - yeah i think it is only a solicitors that can authorise it for you and as far as i know it is only a document which is signed by you and the solicitor with their stamp as Neet said

I've just gone through this got married last April and to be honest still have some bank cards that I haven't done. I found the DVLA to be the worst I had to send them my original marriage certificate my bank was the same are you sure that's not what they want. Utility bills were easier they just wanted a photocopy.
