I’ve followed an app that showed my ovulation day as 15th Feb. In the ‘fertile window’ we did the deed every other day and on the day of ovulation.

Today I’ve got some creamy CM. I’m just wondering is this normal post ovulation or am o leading up to ovulation?! I came off the pill end of November. First period end of Dec, then end of Jan. So app averaging 30 day cycles.

Hoping the apps right and my AF doesn’t show up next week !!

It's an average and you might have ovulated before or after the 15th. There is no way of knowing for certain unless you take your temperature every morning before doing anything. Opks are very useful as well since they can help you pinpoint together with the temperature.
I used to follow an app but after using opks and temping, I have noticed ovulations as soon as CD12 or even as late as CD17.
If I had blindly followed an average of 14, I would have missed ovulation on several occasions.

You shouldn’t just go by an app that is just an average and basing you on ovulating 14 days after your period.
You need to either start temping or introducing opks to know when you are exactly ovulating.

I don’t want to temp or opk just yet as I think the more I do stuff like that the more stressed I will get. Which won’t help. I think if after a few cycles it doesn’t happen I will definately consider it.

I just use the app as a guide. We did it on CD8 CD10 CD12 CD 14 CD16 CD17 CD19 !! Hoping regardless of when I ovulated one of the times I would have caught. Fingers crossed !!xx

EWCM was a good sign for me around ovulation, but testing with opk's just confirmed it for me, but seeing what you have is defo a good sign

apps without opks are not that accurate. If the CM feels silky between your fingers it is fertile. If it feels just sticky and dries quickly it's post ovulation stuff. You may well not have ovulated yet. I'd keep dtd every other day and chart your CM. Ideally you want EWCM for fertility. The creamy stuff usually comes first.

With 30 day cycles you could be ovulating anywhere between cd14 and cd19. It depends on the length of your luteal phase. Your app is assuming you have an average length luteal phase but it could be shorter.

I use the GLOW app which I find really good. This says 7th November.
