hiya, I normally ovulate on CD12/13 and I normally start getting pains early but not too painful, and only really bad the day before ovulation but this month I am having really really painful ovulation pains, cramping, and EWCM on CD9, my device is saying high fertility so no peak yet. Do you think it's normal to get bad ovulation pains? and get them 3-4 days before peak? also does that mean I am fertile earlier in my cycles? sorry for all the questions and I hope someone knows the answers.

What device are you using? I was totally let down by CB this month. I sometimes get bad ovulation pains. I would dtd definitely just in case...sounds like you are ovulating. I didn't get a peak on CB but got a strong one on cheapies and wish I had trusted the EWCM and pains.

Hi sunflower I am using the monitor the one you but sticks separately. They have been accurate so far as I get my period 14 days after my peak. Very strange that I got ewcm on cd9.

Hiya just found out that I got my peak today cd10!!! It looks like it’s going to be a very short cycle and explains the ewcm and ovulation pains

Good luck! I often ovulate fairly early. I find ovulation pains the best indicator that ovulation is about to happen. x

I've had a few painful ovulations before, think its normal. Maybe you'll be releasing more than one egg :P lol

Oh no I can’t even get pregnant with one egg imagine having twins! Lol at least we managed to bd the day before peak so I need to get another session in today let’s see if hubby is up for it

Also question so I had more ewcm the day before peak and also more ovulation pain. So today it’s my first peak day and drier than yesterday and also less ovulation pain. Does this mean I ovulated already? So by the time the fertility monitor picked up my peak could I have already ovulated ?

It is possible. You normally ovulate after the EWCM. The older you get the closer to the LH surge you ovulate so you could ovulate just before a peak. x

Sounds like me as I am nearly 40 so it explains why I Might be ovulationg very quickly.
