Cash for clothes

Getting paid 60p a kilo collected and I have gathered up 60 pounds in moneys worth and I'm not finished

My aim was to get money for a 79pound bed for my daughter so I think I'll easily make my target, might get the price of the new curtains too plus I've decluttered the whole house

Do you know what happens the clothes afterwards? All of our old clothes go to charity so I probably wouldn't use this service unless they went to charity in the end. Do they even tell you what happens to them?

I'm not sure hun, can't imagine they'd pay you and then give them to charity though

I'm not sure if it's the same thing but there was a scam (using that word loosely as I can't think if another rite now) where false charity's were leaving bags around for people to donate clothes too then taking them to 3rd world countries and selling them to poor people for a profit (whereas somewhere like oxfam would give them to people for free or at a charge with the money going to a good cause) this was also meaning that people had no clothes left for oxfam and the real charities.
Not saying this is the same but just be aware
