Carry On Doctor!

As you might have read on a post I made yesterday I've been having some problems with my heart pounding so made a trip to the docs today...

Well, we may has well have been filming a comedy show.

First I get to see the doc who NOBODY ever wants to see cos he's bats,
then he's got some trainee chinese med student with him who seems to have left his english phrase book back in Bejing.

The students suggests the cause of my heart pounding may have been taking amphetamines... yep. great suggestion. Then they hook me up to the ECG machine and after BOTH pulling my bra in every possible direction to attach the pads forget to attach half the wires to my legs.

Chinese boy is then instructed to take a blood sample from me... he didn't know which colour was the purple tube, nearly FORGOT to use a tourniquet and basically made a pin cushion out of my arm until I told him to 'do one' and let bat doctor have a stab. Literally.

And I only went in to get my blood pressure checked...

Oh goodness, I really shouldn't laugh, but they are a shambles!! Did you get your BP checked in the end?

It's always good to go to the doctors and get called a druggie! NOT! I should not of laughed but i did kinda... you are right it would of made for a good carry on film lol

Oh goodness, I really shouldn't laugh, but they are a shambles!! Did you get your BP checked in the end?

I couldn't help laugh myself!!! Bloody joke!!!

As it happens BP is fine, ECG was fine (when they plugged the machine in )
and will get blood test results back later. Assuming Chinese boy hasn't mistaken it for soy sauce and put it on his lunch.

Funnily enough he did look like the chap who delivers my chicken balls of a friday night! Maybe he's taken a career change! lol
