have you tried lying on your left side? that is supposed to get the circulation going better

it has something to do wth being pregnant... another symptom! I was speaking to a few of the girls in work who have children... quite a few said they got pins and needles in their hands and still do (2yrs on) one girl got them in her legs which i think it worse...

I had this! It started about 6 weeks before Charlie was born and I was worried so went to the doctor and they told me it was Carpol Tunnel Syndrome and there was nothing I could do, they did recommend keeping your hand raised as often as possible and rolling it to soothe it.

They told me it would go soon after I had my baby, Charlie is now 4 and a half months and it only went about 3 weeks ago. Sorry probably not what you want to hear, it's probably different for everyone though. x

Haven't had it yet.. sounds bloody painful...

What have the doctors / midwife said about it.. anything you can take? I used to get leg cramps all the time due to lack of salt in my diet.. is there a supplement or a dietary change that can help??

Hope it gets easier for you all xx

Every time I wake up in the night my hands are dead and I have horrid pins and needles as the blood rushes back in. They do go back to normal after about 5 mins, but I'm now getting worried about what's to come!

That does sound really painful Hayley. I would got to the docs and see if they can suggest anything, or like Anna Marie said, there may be a supplement you can take.
