Can you ovulate with HCG still in system after MC?

As the title says, can you ovulate even when there is a little HCG in the system? I had the erpc for my miscarriage 4 weeks ago on this coming Tuesday, I have been testing regularly to check the lines were getting fainter, they were until I tested negative a few days ago. If there was a line then it was so faint you couldn't see it, anyway, we dtd last Saturday so only 9 days ago and I tested today because I had a sudden wave of nausea and light headed feeling that felt familiar, I got a line darker than the other day and a line on a frer too...I don't know what to think, can the hormone fluctuate or would it be that once its gone its gone? When we dtd I was still showing lines on the pregnancy tests, very faint but there so didn't think I would be ovulating, I did have ewcm type stuff but put it down to my body readjusting.
I guess the only thing I can do is keep testing and wait and see if lines get darker or lighter but I was shocked to see a line pop up today xx

You won't ovulate until your hcg is <5mlu so basically 0. I went back to 0 two weeks after mine and only ovulated yesterday for the first time (I do have only one Fallopian tube though)

It could be that you are pregnant again and the faint lines were picking up a light bfp especially if they are now getting darker. Your hcg won't fluctuate it would drop quickly as soon as you stop bleeding so if you had sex straight after your miscarriage you could be pregnant again now.

Remember sperm lives inside us for upto 5 days and after a miscarriage a lot of women are super fertile so if you had sex while a little line was showing you could of concieved quickly after miscarrying xx

I'm so sorry for your loss,
I have been quietly following your ivf journey
I think there could be a chance that you could of concived straight after your mc as I've heard women do and are often more fertile following a loss
I would go to see your doctor and get bloods done so you know for sure, hoping and praying for you xxx

Thanks ladies, It was only 9 days ago that we bd as I was bleeding for a long time and even when we bd, I thought I had stopped bleeding (that's why we bd) and then there was spotting again the next day again so never in a million years did I think I could possibly be ovulating. I was very frisky though (hides head in shame lol) and I have a fairly low sex drive apart from around ov time so who knows. I am seriously confused. I can't remember how faint the lines were around that time but I know they weren't dark. I will try and upload a pic of todays tests and of the negative one too to compare, I can't usually upload but will give it a go xx

I think you may have ovulated at some point and like I said sperm lives inside for a few days so you could of ovulated and been fertile for one day but luckily there was swimmers in there!!

I am guessing the one below is the one you saw a bfn on? I see bfp on all of them but gradually getting darker and that bfp on frer is a bold line!

When did you stop bleeding? Did you have a bfn on a frer before this?

I can definitely see a line on that frer but not the others but on the second pic I can see it on the one below the frer too. I really hope this is it for you hun xx

Yes the bottom one is the bfn one, I could see a line on it today but not when I took it. It was a good few days ago now and I can't tell if it has colour to it so not sure if bottom one an evap as few days old. The two top ones were both taken today and the line on the cheapie test is far clearer in real life than in pic. I will just have to carry on testing and see, I find it hard to believe it could be another pregnancy as we don't fall easily so not in any way getting my hopes up xx

Just do what you said & test again in a few days time but I would assume your hcg levels would of dropped completely by now xx
