Can you drive? (please answer even if you don't! ;-)

Been driving for 20 years now  Gosh that makes me sound old

Only problem as I am the only driver in my family, I get used as the unpaid taxi service by all

i passed my test when i was 17 (took 3 tests tho!) and drove my parents cars but when i moved out i didnt hav a car for years. weve got 3 now lol

Started driving at 17, passed my test 6 months later first time... have never been without a car. Drove from London to Torrevieja when I moved here... (in me little nissan micra)...

My DH doesn't drive and it really annoys me... !!!!! I have to ferry and fetch him everywhere... and it's not fair. if we go out anywhere it's always me who has to go without drinking, unless we get taxi's which cost a fortune.

With having a kid its a lifesaver... but not absolutely necessary. Depends on where you live... if you have to do your weekly shop or if someone will deliver it for you and if your other half drives.

In my case I have to drive... but then thats just because of my circumstances.

Especially when you end up going to the hospital in labour on the number 181 bus... :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I drive. I've had a few crashes and sometimes wish I didn't have to but we live in the sticks. No busses, neighbours etc

We have 2 cars so we can both work and it is expensive but DH does all the mechanics so it's not as bad as it could be. :D

Oh and I love driving really, it just seems there is a lot of idiot drivers about sometimes.....

Come to Spain...they are all effing LUNATICS over here... Some of the driving that goes on here.. it's beyond belief

i drive & have a car
started driving when i was 17, had a bad instructor so found a new 1 then passed just before my 18th
xx

I passed when i was 17 and we have a car but i dont drive it lol...im getting my own after crimbo

I passed my test when I was 18 but I didn't get a car until I was 22 - we couldn't afford one.

When we did finally get one it made SUCH a huge difference to our lives. I'd be totally lost without the car now! Yet we've not even had it for 2 years lol!

My hubby doesn't drive so I have to take him to work and pick him up. We really want for him to learn and get a car of his own, but we can't afford it.

I learned and passed when I was 17, I did it as soon as I could cause I lived in a really small town away from all my mates so it was really helpful. But I'm selling my car cause we can't afford to have two..OH has the better car which I'm insured on.
