can people keep their fingers crossed?

We have our Downs Syndrome scan tonight.

And i am worried

I know that for my age the odds are 1 in 500 or so, but i still am nervous. but i have decided that if the chances 1 in 100 or better i will keep going, if they are worse i don't know

So please send positive vibes.

Good luck and just remember that they are only odds and even if high risk, doesn;t mean your baby WILL have downs.

Well we had it, our odds are now 1 in 6438 so completly reassured.

Baby was moving all the time punching (it had better stop that soon), waving and just moving. Cos it was private we had loads of time with him just looking at the baby on the screen. At our dating scan it didn't move at all (think it was asleep), so this time was really nice to see it moving all around.

We weren't offered a downs scan just blood tests but i don't know when i get them. How did you get a downs scan?
