Hi eveyone

i'm not sure if I fit into this category so feel free to tell me to bog off!

My son is 14 months old and we would love for him to have a little brother or sister.

The problem seems to be getting upduffed this time around. With our son, we were NTNP for 4 months before I fell pregnant on our 5th month by using OPKs, EPO etc. It all seemed so easy. We are now TTC #2 and this will be our 9th month of trying, again using OPKs, EPO etc.

I am currently at 9dpo and hoping to test on Friday which if BFN this month will send us on to our 10th month of TTC.

I don't really know anything about secondary infertility, so any info you can give me would be fantastic.

If there's anything you'd like to ask me, please do ask. I'll try anything!!

ps. I don't know if it's relevant but I am a type 1 diabetic and I had a c-section with DS.

Hello Mrs Mushroom - sorry your having a hard time with TTC this time round, that is pretty much the explanation of secondary fertility, that you have had a child already , but are having fertiltiy problems / issues this time round. My second child took 10 months , and I think it was a combination of being half a stone lighter than I was before when I fell with my son, and trying too hard.., as soon as I gave up trying, I fell pregnant..

Is it worth trying NTNP like you did with your first, rather than TTC?

Well, I did a test this morning and BFN

I'm 11dpo today so I'm pretty much expecting AF on Sunday now.

Maybe it is worth taking a break, "they" do say when you're not so focused on it, I'll happen!

Still no AF today, I did a CB Digi this morning and got a giant 'Not Pregnant'

I dont know what the hell is going on, I'm about 14/15dpo now and 2/3 days late for AF. I've never been this late before and not been pregnant.

How are you doing now Mrs Mushroom? did AF arrive in the end?
I got a bfp a good week late last time , hope you had a late implantation..

a break sounds like a good idea, put some fun back into it again, as it really becomes a chore doesn't it

Hey! AF arrived yesterday afternoon, I must have ovulated later than i thought.

Onwards and upwards, this will be month 10
