If you sign up for xbox live (a yearly subscription I believe) and you do it on the xbox then does it mean your card details are automatically stored and therefore you can buy other things on xbox live using these card details?

And also what sort of things do you have to pay for with xbox live?

Thanks in advance for any info you may have!

Yes they hold your card details. Also thing worth remembering is that next year if you have got bored of playing live they will use a direct debit and take the money out your account again as a subscription. I would cancel all direct debits from them so it doesn't happen because its a easy thing to forget and you get £50 just disappear and you cant get it back.

i actually paid for ours with cash at one of the computer stores so no card details stored anywhere :D xxxxxxxx

OOh thanks! Now that is handy to know!

I think it's a bit bad really how the card details are kept - don't the xbox people know that it's parents who probably put their card details in for the subscription for the kids.. and that it's a bit iffy to be able to keep buying things after that!

Well thanks for the info girlies many

yeh they keep them but every time you want to buy something you still have to enter card security code so unless your kids know it they wont be able to use it, i used my dads details once and they kept his card on my account but every time i needed use it i had to ring and ask him for his security code.
